Delivery and Refund Policy
Delivery
The service purchased through the Pacecoevent platform consists of the right to participate in a sports organization and the related event services. Participants are provided with services including timing systems, race bibs and timing chips, athlete bags, event t-shirts, course support services, water and nutrition stations, medals, post-race refreshments, baggage storage services, and applicable insurance coverage.
Once the registration process is completed, the participant’s race registration becomes final and digital participation/confirmation information is delivered electronically. Any physical materials provided within the scope of the organization are not considered standalone commercial products, but complementary components of the event participation service.
Right of Withdrawal and Refund Conditions
Pursuant to Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers and the Distance Contracts Regulation, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once digital content has been downloaded, accessed, or used. If the user has accessed, downloaded, or started using the digital product/service, product cancellation and refund are not possible. However, if the user has not yet accessed the content and submits a refund request within 14 days from the order date, the refund request may be evaluated.
Refund Process
In cases where refunds are permitted, you may submit your request by sending an email to info@pacecoevent.com.
If your request is approved, your payment will be refunded within a maximum of 14 business days through the original payment method (bank transfer, credit card refund, etc.).
The refund process applies only to unused and unaccessed products/services.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not possible if the user has accessed, downloaded, or started using the digital product/service.
Digital content and/or products that are customized or specially prepared for the user are non-refundable.
The athlete shall be deemed to have started receiving the service as of the registration date. From this date onward, partial refunds may be applied at decreasing rates depending on the remaining time before the event.
If participants request cancellation of their registration, cancellations made up to 45 days before the race date will be eligible for a refund after deduction of 40% of the registration fee.
No refunds will be made for cancellation requests submitted within 45 days prior to the race date, as production and operational preparation processes for the organization will already have commenced.
Participants are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided during registration. Registrations of participants found not to meet discount eligibility requirements during verification processes may be canceled without refund of the registration fee paid.
Force Majeure
In the event that the organization is canceled or postponed due to official authority decisions, security concerns, natural disasters, epidemics/pandemics, war, terrorism, adverse weather conditions, or other force majeure events, the organizer reserves the right to partially refund the registration fee or transfer the participation right to another date.
In cases where the race is canceled or postponed due to force majeure events and/or decisions of competent public authorities, the organizer shall only be responsible for decisions regarding refund or postponement of the registration fee.
Participants acknowledge and agree that they shall not make any claims regarding travel, accommodation, or similar expenses under such circumstances.
